Pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter (the number of times the diameter will go around the circumference). It is about 3.14. Room 314 celebrated Pi Day by exploring circles and learning about radius and diameter. We ate pie and made a special announcement to the school at 3:14! Mrs. Wilke even wore a pi shirt. March 14 is also the birthday of Albert Einstein and Waclaw Sierpinski so we read a book about Albert and attempted to build a Sierpinski triangle.
Twin Day?
No, it wasn't "twin day." This was just a cute coincidence!
Double Vision
Another "twin day" in room 314!

Our Achievement
Room 314 is very proud of our latest Achievement! We won the Achieve 3000 belt for the sixth consecutive week with an activity average of 87%. We have been working very hard on making reading connections, answering the thought questions and using the "refer to article" button while reading.
